The first class was a hit! Come learn to the second class to quickly and artistically paint wood ornaments for different seasons. This class is free to seniors. Paul, an Ashburnham resident, will be the instructor. Sample blank ornaments and paint will be supplied. Paint techniques are easy to master. Please call the Senior Center (978-827-5100) and request to be included before coming.
WOODWORKING CLASS continued

Class will learn how to make dovetail joints.
Starting in May there will be a computer tutor here once a month to do a workshop. This workshop will help to erase your technical insecurities, show you how to use the internet, download pictures, use your phone comera, etc. If you are having specific issues you would like addressed, these can be discussed in the class. Bring in your laptops, phones, lpads, etc. so questions can be answered. Classes will be the first Monday of each month at 11:30.
A Walking Group is begining June 6th
The group will meet each Wednesday at 10am at the Senior Center. The van will provide transportation to Sweeney Park where walkers can exercise on the paved path.
There are picnic tables and benches if you need a break or want to socialize and enjoy the outdoors.
