Registration for Kindergarten 2018-2019 for all Ashburnham and Westminster students who will be five years old by August 31, 2018 has begun.
In Westminster, a three-part Kindergarten Orientation Program for students and their parents/guardians, will be held this spring. The first session, on Friday, April 6th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, is for parents/guardians only and will include a presentation on the Kindergarten Curriculum. Incoming kindergarten students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend the remaining sessions on Thursday, May 10 and Thursday, June 7, both of which will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. If your child is age eligible and you did not receive a registration packet, please contact Meetinghouse School at 978-874-0163 ext. 0 or email Mrs. McCarthy at email@example.com so that we may add your child onto our list of incoming students.
In Ashburnham, the Kindergarten Orientation program is planned for May 23rd from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Please come to the John R. Brigg’s Elementary School lobby on that day. At approximately 9:15 parents/guardians will be invited to join our staff for quick introductions and a chance to ask questions. Registration packets may now be picked up at the Briggs Elementary School Office on school days between 8:00AM and 3:30 PM. Parents/guardians of children who will be entering Kindergarten this fall are encouraged to call the Briggs Elementary School office (978-827-5750) or email Mrs. Pilsbury at firstname.lastname@example.org to assure that their child is included on the list of incoming kindergarten students.
Enrollment packets may also be downloaded from the J.R. Briggs and Meetinghouse School websites.
Parents/guardians of children in Ashburnham or Westminster may call the Special Education office (978-827-3062) to make a separate appointment for any three or four-year-old they feel may have a disability.
