We will start at the east end of the rail trail,  about 45 North Ashburnham Rd Winchendon, first right after the church on rt 12 coming out of Ashburnham (parking is along a dirt road).  It is a flat paved section of the trail that has some shade, On the way back to the start those that are interested can take a quick side path up to Little Anthony's for an ice cream reward(bring your own money).   While walking we can talk about the nature we see and the train line itself if anyone has info to share on this.
